Availability - Assumptions for Connection to the Service

In order for someone to access the i-choice service the following requirements should be met:

1. For service provisioning, CYTA's telephone exchange, to which the customer's telephone line is connected, should be equipped with DSL equipment. At the initial phase, the service will be provided to the urban areas.

2. The length of the copper line from the customer premises to the telephone exchange must be less than four (4) kilometers and the quality of the line should be adequate (higher than the one required for the telephony service).

3. The customer should own a personal computer equipped with a USB port or an Ethernet card.

After submission of the application for service, CYTA will investigate every aspect of the prerequisites and the customer will be notified of the possibility of getting an i-choice connection.

At this stage the i-choice service is available in the most urban and semi-urban areas, as well as, some rural areas.
