Settings
Make sure that the
following settings have been configured in your PC .
Windows 95/98/2000
Go to Start and click on Settings to open the menu on the right hand side of
the cursor. Choose the command Control Panel . Double click on Network icon
in the Control Panel and when that opens do a double click on the TCP/IP component
that points to the Ethernet card that you have installed in your PC (see figure
below) and do the following configurations:
1. On IP Address card choose Obtain an IP address automatically
2. On Wins Configuration card choose Use DHCP for WINS resolution
3. On DNS Configuration card choose Disable DNS

Go to Start and click on Settings . Then choose the command Control Panel .
Double click on Network icon and choose the card Protocol . Double click on
TCP/IP (see figure below) and do the following configuration:
1. On IP Address card choose Obtain an IP address automatically from a DHCP Server
2. On Wins Address card make sure that no WIN Server is defined
3. On DNS card make sure that no DNS Server is defined

Windows XP
Make a right click on My Network Places icon which is on the PC's desktop. From
the pop-up menu select Properties .
In
the Network Connections window, make a right click on the
Ethernet Card icon which is connected to the ADSL modem.
From the pop-up menu select Properties .
In the properties window, make a double click on Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP) to set the communication protocol. This
selection in under General tab.

On the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window, under
General tab, select Obtain an IP address automatically and
Obtain DNS server automatically .

Press the Advanced button and make sure that the settings
are the same as shown below.



Press OK .
On the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window, under
Alternative Configuration tab, select Automatic private IP
address .

Press OK and then press the Authentication tab to make sure
that the settings are the same as shown below.

Please note that by default, Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall is selected,
under the Advanced Tab . This may hinder your access to some internet applications.

Apple Macintosh
From the Apple menu select Settings and
then TCP/IP .

In the page which follows make the following settings.
In option Connect via choose Ethernet .
In option Configure choose Using DHCP Server .
In the box which is under Search Domains write www.i-choice.com.cy
