Problem Solution
The modem is not working (no LED is on) Check if the modem is plugged on the power outlet and the power outlet is on
Check if the power switch of the modem is on.
The Ethernet connection is not working
Check if the cable is placed firmly into the 10BASE-T socket and the right type of cable is used. If your modem has an ÁÔMF-25 socket make sure that you didn't plug the cable there but in 10BASE-T instead.
Low performance of the modem


Check if the modem has been installed according to the instructions in the manual and the i -choice website.
Check if the modem is ventilated adequately. Place the modem on an even hard surface. Do not put anything on top of the modem.
Check if the in-house wiring is not layed near possible sources of interference like electrical wires.
Although the POWER/Sync LED is green (synchronized), there is no traffic Shut down and restart the modem. If the trouble remains please contact the Cyta's Fault Handling Centre.
The POWER/Sync LED is red. Shut down and restart the modem. If the trouble remains please contact the Cyta's Fault Handling Centre.
The modem ADSL does not synchronize Shut down and restart the modem. If the trouble remains please contact the Cyta's Fault Handling Centre.
The modem ADSL is synchronized but is not connected to the service selection gateway login page Check if the installation procedures were executed precisely. Check that your browser does not use a proxy and the dial-up facility is disabled. If the trouble remains please contact the Cyta's Fault Handling Centre.
When I make a telephone call the modem is de-synchronized and my connection to the Internet is interrupted Check if the filters or the central splitter are correctly connected. If the problem remains please contact the Cyta's Fault Handling Centre.
At the service selection gateway: when I choose an ISP to connect to the internet I get the message “Connection Failed” You probably typed the wrong user name and/or password for the respective ISP at the time you set your profile or somebody else is using your user name and password. In the first case, consult the i -choice web page on how to modify your profile. Make sure you do not give your ISP user name and password to anybody else.
The installation of the software cannot be dpone from the cd-rom which comes with the modem because it is not recognised by Macintosh operating system.
The installation of the software is done from Driver Upgrade for MAC Operating System 8.6/9.x release 1.3.4 for MAC OS of series 5.8.6/9.x or from Driver Upgrade for MAC OSX(OS 10.1) for MACOS of series 10 which are found on the webpage

Some editions of OS Win 2000 and Win XP dont support the software of the cd-rom which comes with the modem. First the software from the cd-rom which comes with the modem is installed then Driver Upgrade for Win Release 1.4 is installed.Driver upgrade for Win Realease can be found at:
