Settings
Once the modem has been installed and the user has done the appropriate PC setting
he should restart his/her PC and open his/her browser.
In the case of a USB modem the necessary drivers should have also been installed
and once the PC is restarted a dial up session should be activated before opening
the browser.
Make sure that the following settings are included in your browser's settings.
Internet Explorer (Window Users)
On “Internet Explorer” go to the “Tools” menu and click on “Internet Options”.
On the “Internet Options” window go to the “Connections” card.
1. For Speed Touch USB modem you have to choose the dial-up icon “Speed
Touch USB Connection” shown in the “Dial-Up settings” box. Then click on “settings”
and check the “Use a proxy server” box. Then click on the button “Advanced”.
The proxy address fields should contain the addresses of your Internet service
provider's proxies that were given to you by your Internet service provider.
In the “Exceptions” field the following should be included: 192.168.*; *.i-choice.com.cy

2. For the Speed Touch Home modem you
have to click on “LAN Settings”. Check the “Use a proxy server”
box and then click on the button “Advanced”. The proxy address
fields should contain the addresses of your Internet service
provider's proxies. In the “Exceptions” field the following
should be included: 192.168.*; *.i-choice.com.cy

Explorer (Apple Macintosh Users)
Go to menu Edit and select Preferences .
The window below will appear. Select Proxies from the category Network .

Make sure that the box Web Proxy is checked. Also, insert
the addresses 192.168.*; *.i-choice.com.cy as
shown above.
To insert the proxy address and port
number of your internet service provider press the button Settings next
to Web Proxy .

Fill in the address and port boxes with the proxy and port number which
is given to you by your internet provider.
